Our science and technology are rooted in our deep and extensive knowledge of neuroscience and proteome informatics. By combining these with our computational strategies, we have developed three innovative platforms that enable us to us to design therapeutic interventions by manipulating proteins in ways that are not amenable using small molecules, antibodies, antisense oligos, or more classical protein degradation technologies known as PROTAC.
Through our novel discovery programs, we are able to identify key domains of disease related proteins, and design lead compounds that offer new therapeutic approaches by:
- blocking the interactions of any arbitrary pair of disease-causing proteins
- strengthening and stabilizing the interactions of disease-causing proteins using molecular glues; and
- degrading specific pathological proteins by harnessing the body's natural degradation machineries of the cell which are the lysosome and the proteasome.
